Spring at Pacific Northwest Ballet

Spring is a beautiful time to visit the Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB). One of the largest and most highly regarded ballet companies in the United States, PNB has been delighting audiences since 1972.  Each year PNB’s Company of nearly 50 dancers performs more than 100 shows at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall in Seattle, as well as on tour all over the United States and abroad.

Highlights this spring include:


The classic fairytale comes to life through this beautiful interpretation January 31th through February 9th. Glittering costumes, Prokofiev’s dramatic score, breathtaking scenery and a show-stopping fairy godmother will delight audiences young and old. Get tickets here

One Thousand Pieces

Seattle’s premier “double bill returns David Dawson’s powerfully athletic Empire Noir, set against a massive, curving sculpture.” Don’t miss this eagerly anticipated performance March 13th through 22nd.  Buy tickets here.

Beauty & The Beast:

Join PNB this March for a  gorgeous interpretation of this “tale as old as time.” The classic story of unexpected friendship, daring adventure, and the triumph of true love is expressed through dance and was designed especially for young audiences. The PNB describes this performance as a charming introduction to theater and dance. Beauty and the Beast performed March 15th, 21st and 22nd.  Get tickets and read show notes 


After receiving exquisite new sets and costumes in 2014, Giselle returns to PNB April 10th through the 19th. A tale of death by a broken heart, and the road to revenge, Giselle is a dramatic ballet from the Romantic-
