It’s trick-or-treat time once again and Seattle has lots of fun opportunities to celebrate the season of spook. Here are just a few of our favorites:
October 26th and 27th
Grab you mini monsters and head to the Woodland Park Zoo for Pumpkin Bash! This family friendly event features trick-or-treating, plenty of freaky fun activities, plus pumpkins for the animals. Your kids will love watching the hippos, bears, tigers and lemurs smash pumpkins. Don’t worry, this fun and safe activity is part of the zoo excellence program to “mentally and physically stimulate” the animals as well as entertain zoo guests. Pumpkin Bash is free with paid admission and one child 12 years or under in costume is admitted free with a paid adult. Get more details here.
October 26th and 27th
Creepy games
Halloween is no longer just an “on land” celebration. Seattle Aquarium is taking spooky to the sea with underwater pumpkin carving in their Windows on the Washington exhibit. Visitors can also enjoy creepy games, face painting, on land pumpkin carving with master carver Russ Leno, ominous octopus feedings and more. Get tickets and see the line-up here.
