Perhaps the most highly anticipated event of Seattle Cocktail Week is the grand tasting Cocktail District, Saturday March 9th from noon to 10pm at the Bell Harbor Conference Center. This self-proclaimed “carnival of cocktails” features over 200 spirits to try, masterclasses, food trucks and more! What’s your fancy? Neat, straight-up, shaken, dry? All of your favorite spirits will be represented- available to taste and mixed into inspired cocktails. Cocktail District also features presentations and demonstrations by some of Seattle’s most talented mixologists. The Learning Lab is an opportunity to dive deeper into all of the boozy details behind your favorite cocktails- sessions include “Cocktail Party at Home” with Ketel One and Ciroc, “The Life of the Daiquiri” with Bicardi, and “Single Malts 101.”
- Tickets can be purchased here in advance for $35.99. They are $50 at the door.
- Ticket holders receive 12 tasting tokens that can be used for either a mini cocktail or a spirit tasting.
- The event is broken up into tasting areas so you can find your favorites: Whiskey Woods (featuring live music), Tequila Area, Vodka Village, Tiki Village, Gin Garden, Specialty Area and the Carnival Floor.
A variety of other events will be happening throughout the week- from whiskey happy hours and gin cocktail competitions to lessons in Amari and tiki nights. Check out the complete lineup here.
