Don’t be fooled by the name, Fremont Oktoberfest is happening this September 21, 22 and 23rd! You will not go thirsty at Seattle’s largest beer festival. This year’s event features over 100 beers from 50 breweries (get the complete lineup here)! Get a big beer (a stein or boot) at the Buxom Beer Garden, enter the Stein Hoisting Competition, and watch the experts grab a chainsaw and let the pumpkin guts fly at the Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving competition.
Sure it’s all about the beer, but this party in the street is a lot more! Sports fans need not fear that they will miss their favorite teams as the festival features an indoor beer hall and sports bar where they can catch the games of all of our favorite locals including the Cougs, Hawks, Sounders, the M’s, Huskies and more! Enjoy live music, fun activities, and plenty of people watching in the “Center of the Universe”, Seattle’s beloved Fremont neighborhood.
Here is how it works: purchase your ticket and with admission you’ll receive tasting tokens and a mini-mug. Take a look around, see what sparks your interest- and then get your mini-mug filled in exchange for a token!
The event benefits the Fremont Chamber of Commerce so as they say “each swig of your mini mug is a drink for a cause!”
