Ask people from the Pacific Northwest what they love most about living here, and some may tell you it’s the fact that they can be on the water in the mornings, andbe in the mountains by the afternoon.  Seattleites love the Sound, and there’s no better place to indulge their love of all things afloat than the largest boat show West- the 2019 Seattle Boat Show January 25th through February 2nd.  Featuring more than 1,000 recreational vehicles and over 400 exhibitors, the show offers everything from free boat rides to craft beers. The 2019 show takes place at two locations, indoors at CenturyLink Field and Event Center and afloat at South Lake Union’s (Chandler’s Cove), and there is a free shuttle to take you from one location to the other.

Uncorked

Opening night is January 25th, and the event kicks off with Uncorked at CenturyLink Field & Event Center, a chance for showgoers to taste a variety of award-winning Washington and California wines while perusing the boats and accessories on display. Packages for Uncorked including admission, a souvenir wine glass and 6 tasting tokens, can be purchased online for $30. 

Seminars

The show features over 230 boating and fishing seminars taught by maritime experts.  Expand your love of boating and “nautical know-how” with topics including boat care and detailing, electrical design for boats, getting your captain’s license, kayak fishing in the Pacific Northwest and more. Boaters can also learn from the experts at the popular Boat Show University- a three-hour or all-day nautical courses. Check out the complete line-up here. 

Kids AquaZone

Budding boaters will enjoy the Kids AquaZone- a free entertainment area with tons to do. They can bounce on a Springfree trampoline, get goofy in the photo booth, showcase their creativity at the paper sailboat making station, build an indoor sandcastle and more!!
