Starting April 7 tastebuds all over Seattle will be tempted as our premier dining event Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW) returns. April 7-18, diners will be able to dine out at some of the area’s most dynamic hot spots as well as delicious classics- all a fantastic price. SRW features over 165 restaurants offering 3-course dinners for just $35, with many offering 2-course lunches for $20. The promotion runs Sundays through Thursdays (SRW prices are not offered Friday, Satruday or for Sunday brunch) and tax, gratuity and tip are not included.
This is your chance to map out the city- and get a taste of all of the delicious things Seattle is cooking. The SRW website offers diners the opportunity to search participating restaurants by cuisine, neighborhood, or food preference (gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian). While reservations are not required, they are recommended. Diners are encouraged to set up reservations through OpenTable.
Appetizing appetizers abound- including Andana’s Octopus appetizer served with sesame spinach and lemon puree, Meet the Moon’s Soft Pretzel with dark porter-white cheddar and mustard sauce, and Agrodolce’s Sicilian Rainbow Carrots prepared with carrot top-pine nut pesto, currants and a Marsala glaze.
The Main Event
There is something for every palate on the SRW menus. A few of the most enticing entrees include: Central Smoke Bar & Smokery’s mouth-watering Smoked Spare Ribs, Currant Bistro’s Flatbread topped with Moroccan spiced chicken, confit garlic, preserved lemon, feta and oregano; and Lecosho’s Alaskan Sockeye Salmon paried with wildflower honey cake.
The Final Act
Got a sweet tooth? You are in the right place. Try Omega Ouzeri’s Tsoureki Bread Pudding with whipped cream and Metaxa caramel, Kokkaku’s Soy Bean Panna Cotta with Azuki bean paste, and Alcove’s Bolinho De Estudante- tapioca “donuts” with cinnamon and sugar.
