Whether it’s your mom, your children’s mom, your grandma, or any other special mother in your life- mothers should be celebrated every day- but especially Mother’s Day. Give your favorite mom a “swimmingly” perfect Mother’s Day at Seattle Aquarium! Drop in to get a free parking voucher good for 4 hours worth of free parking- and then check out all the sealife with special talks and al treat just for moms!

Start with her favorite hobby- SHOPPING! MOHAI’s store is hosting its second annual trunk show Mother’s Day weekend. Your favorite mom can browse a wide collection of artists and designers showcasing their unique wares. MOHAI members save 15% on purchases all day! Then bring your receipt over to the South Lake Cafe where presenting your trunk show receipt will save you 10% on lunch! What mom doesn’t love shopping and lunch?

Pike Place Market is in full bloom at the 10th Annual Flower Festival. Browse flowers, produce, and specialty products from more than 40 Washington state farmers. In addition, mothers and daughters can meet in the kitchen for a Mother’s Day Cooking Class on Sunday from 6pm to 8pm presented by Cucina Casalinga! Prepare spaghetti alla chitarra from scratch and enjoy it in the heart of the Pike Place Market.
