Something very sweet is headed to Seattle this November. Chocoholics rejoice- it’s time once again for the Northwest Chocolate Festival! November 10th and 11th at Pier 91 in the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal, chocolate lovers will flock to taste the finest delicacies from over 150 companies from over 20 different countries!
Now in its 10th year, the festival “celebrating the chocolate lover in all” is not only delicious, but one of the most renowned chocolate festivals in the entire world. Willy Wonka himself could learn something at this event that is as educational as it is delicious. Interested in learning about the aphrodisiac qualities of chocolate, how to make a chocolate meringue snowman, or follow the story of the cacao bean from tree to bar in Brazil? These are just a few of the many lectures, classes and workshops offered at the festival.
Visitors can taste chocolate from around the world (over 20 countries will be represented this year), speak directly with the farmers and growers who supply raw ingredients used to make chocolate, take a cooking class, even watch chocolate demonstrations performed by world-famous chefs!
